New Delhi: Conjoined twins Ganga and Jamuna Mondal eventually falls in love with the same man. The 45-year-old conjoined twins known as the 'spider sisters' live all by themselves throughout life because people cannot accept their unusual appearance. However, after meeting with a young man, Ahmad Jasimuddin their lives become beautiful.
"It was love at first sight. When we met with Jasimuddin, we could feel he will love us and he is sincere, "said Jamuna. She added that the presence of Jasimuddin really make them happy.
"Before this, we suffer and do not want to go through life like that again. We hope to spend our entire life with him," she said.
The twins were born with four arms and three legs. They also share stomach, but have their own heart, kidney and liver. Ganga and Jamuna were born in poor families near Kolkata, West Bengal.
Unfortunately, the twins parents cannot afford the medical costs thus, leaving them as they reached their teenage age and believed that their presence is indication from god curse.
Since they have no education, Jamuna and Ganga earn a living by joining the circus and can be considered a lucrative income of £ 25 a day.
The twin sisters had tried to undergo surgery, but rejected the idea, fearing a life-threatening and lead to loss of income. They met Jasimuddin, 36, a teacher who works part-time in the circus as a sound engineer.
"We were shocked to know he understands and rewards our feelings," said Ganga. Meanwhile, Jasimuddin acknowledge his life as more meaningful since he met his unique lover.
"Since meeting Ganga and Jamuna, I understand the suffering they experienced. I am used to this. I always consider other people's suffering and trying to improve my situation, "he said.
Ganga said Jasimuddin is kind hearted and witty. "He was very good and often entertaining us. We called him Mr. India, "she said.
Asked about sex, Ganga and Jamuna did not elaborate, but admit their relationship with Jasimuddin is intimate. According to them, their relationship emphasise more on friendship and fun.
Jasimuddin and his conjoined twins girlfriend lived together for the past seven months. The trio refused to get married because it's unacceptable in their society.
