SAUDI DAD OFFERS KIDNEY TO SAVE ILL DAUGHTER

A Saudi father is offering to sell his kidney to save his ill little daughter and avoid being kicked out of his home although his country is the world’s largest oil exporter.

The offer by Atiya Al Zahrani went on social networks and quickly triggered reactions by readers who called on authorities to help him.

Zahrani said he was read to sell one kidney to pay for the treatment of his three-year-old daughter, Reem, who is suffering from heart and brain problems.

He said he could not afford paying because he is reeling under debt and his family could be evicted from their house in less than a month for not paying rent.

“May God cure this little girl. Where are you benevolent people and where are you authorities?” said Abu Safouk al Khaldi, according to Ajel newspaper.

Another reader, Fahd Al Rasheed, said:”We are sorry to hear about your daughter and your financial problems. Where are you our ministers? I am sorry to spoil and interrupt your holiday with news of illness of a little Saudi girl.”
