TEMPTING CROCODILE SOUP

It's not surprising to hear on man being eaten by crocodile in Sarawak as crocodile are commonly seen in the rivers here. However, not many are aware that this ferocious reptiles make a delicious dish for exotic food lovers in this state.

Who would have thought that Miri Crocodile Farm in Sarawak has something special for all the exotic food lovers. Not only giving people the opportunity to take a closer look at the animals, there's also a restaurant serving crocodile meat for visitors especially foreign tourists. 

Besides crocodile soup, visitors can also order other mouth watering crocodile dishes like crocodile cooked in soy sauce and crocodile 'satay' (grill crocodile).

Cook, Sunani Sulong, 55, said the crocodile meat dishes are very popular among the Chinese, as well as the locals especially the Iban.

He said the most popular dish is crocodile soup as many claim that this exotic dish is very nutritious and good for health especially for those who suffer from asthma.
