The palace of Nurul Iman is the official residence of the Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam. The palace is located near the banks of the Brunei River. The palace is also the place of residence and the biggest palace in the world. Here are some details on the world biggest palace:

The palace has 1,788 rooms, 257 bathrooms and a banquet hall that can accommodate up to 5,000 people. The mosque can accommodate up to 1,500 worshipers at once. The palace also comprises of 110 car garage, air-conditioned stables housing with 200 polo ponies owned by His Majesty and 5 swimming pools. As a whole, the Palace of Nurul Iman has a floor space about the size of 2,152,782 square feet (200,000 m²). The palace that is equipped with 564 chandeliers, 51,000 light bulbs, 44 stairs and 18 elevators.
